I enjoy using To-do list memo pads and place them throughout my notebooks and journals to track my progress. I often search for new designs at stationery stores, but since quality options are limited locally, I typically order them from overseas or purchase them during trips to Japan. They are available in various sizes and designs, which makes them enjoyable to use and inspires me to consider designing my own in the future.
The To-do list memo pads I have here are small and very handy. There are even tinier ones, and I like mixing and matching different sizes and colors. I plan to make mine more engaging by incorporating doodles, stickers and sprinkle of emojis to suit my mood.
.*Materials I used for this journaling:
1.0 ball-point pen
Cutouts from the magazines.
Graphic tapes and stickers
Post-it and To-Do it memo pads
Black tea
Most people reflect on their achievements and setbacks at the end of the year. For me, though, I do this every day because I'm always looking at my TO-DO LIST. Each day, I check off what I've finished, note what I haven't, add comments, and update the list.
To-do list memo pads come in various types, primarily distinguished by their layout and features, such as daily, weekly, or specific project formats, often with additional sections for priorities, notes, and checklists.
Types of To-Do List Memo Pads
Simple Checklist Notepads: These are straightforward notepads with a single column of lines and checkboxes for checking off completed tasks. They are ideal for quick, basic lists like groceries or simple daily chores.
Prioritized Task Pads: These memo pads feature dedicated sections, such as "Do It Now" and "Do It Later," or "Top Priorities" and "Other Tasks". This design helps users effectively manage time and energy by visually separating immediate, high-importance items from less urgent ones.
Daily Planners: More comprehensive than simple lists, these include structured sections for a single day, often featuring an hourly schedule, a to-do list, water intake, daily focus, and notes for the next day. They are suited for detailed day planning and tracking various aspects of a daily routine.
Weekly Combination Pads: These larger desk pads offer a weekly layout to help plan the week at a glance, in addition to a dedicated bulleted or lined section for daily tasks or grocery lists. The list section is often perforated so it can be torn off and taken on the go.
Project Planner Notepads: These pads are designed for more complex tasks, often featuring numbered lines and potentially columns to track progress or specific project details.
