My favorite things
Nothing beats the quiet bliss of a morning with your favorite avocado toast for breakfast and drawing with your favorite stationery

.*Materials I used for this journaling:
Watercolor set and watercolor sketchbook (medium texture)
1.0 felt pen.
Color pencil for retouch.
COPIC series natural color felt pens.
Avocado breakfast and soy latte
Today, instead of my journal, I brought my small sketchbook to the coffee shop and started drawing while waiting for avocado toast and a latte, one of my favorite plate I order 2-3 times a week. Unlike regular white bread with sugar, I order wheat bread because it is healthy and pairs well with avocado and scrambled eggs. This meal is balanced because it combines good fats and fiber from avocado, protein from eggs, and healthy carbs and fiber from whole-grain bread.
For your reference, here are the features of COPIC that might interest you:
Painterly Control: The "Super Brush" nib on COPIC Sketch allow you to create fluid strokes and precise details simply by varying your pressure.
Seamless Blending: Gradient of smooth and effortless color transitions that blend beautifully with each other.
Built for Longevity: Unlike disposable markers, COPICs are designed to last a lifetime; they are fully refillable, and every nib can be replaced if it becomes worn or frayed.
Paper-Friendly Ink: The fast-drying, non-toxic ink won't damage paper fibers or cause buckling, allowing you to layer colors multiple times to build depth without ruining your work.
Hand-Tested Consistency: Every marker is hand-tested for quality and color accuracy before leaving the factory in Japan, ensuring that your colors match perfectly from one batch to the next.

Speaking of favorites, I have another favorite thing to talk about. It’s my drawing medium of choice: COPIC markers like CIAO series. These felt pens are a staple for designers and hobbyists, and for good reason. They are pricey, but the quality is worth every penny. The ink glides across the page, creating velvety gradients and seamless color transitions that make my sketches look clean and vivid. With a massive range of colors, I can easily create subtle tones and oddball shades that other brands do not offer. I have tried different pens at work and during my drawing sessions but none of them work well as COPIC. The ink quality and the material used for the tip are superb, which makes them my favorite pens to use.
